it’s like a new version of the original karate kid with the kid getting beat up and all that

  5. Very good how they shaped the characters of the two based on the overindulgence of success, and over beratement of failure.

Someone I only noticed after 34 years. Kreese wipes Johnny’s bloody nose with an ungloved hand. Too bad one didn’t give the other the AIDS.

I find it hard to believe that the still fight has any relevancy after 30 years

This time there’s no imperial Japanese sensei, so I like it. Meaning the previous korate kid was worse than the jackie chan one, SIMPLY because i hate the Imperial Japanese Sensei. THis movie might be better than all karate kid combined.

  10. I am excited for this series but the chain of events are kind of hard to get behind. like that guy in the convenience store holding the slice of pizza as pretty dumb, he got the pizza before ringing him up and didn’t get a plate or use parchment paper, the whole sequence was silly. I don’t think we needed to see Johnny Drinking and driving, and parking his car like that at the gate was pretty bad, if the cops had shown up to make an accident report he would have been taken in again for drunk driving. I know this is suppose to be a low point for Johnny but I’d like the show to be smarter. It doesn’t really look like Johnny is living hard, he looks like a man who is very health conscious and clearly works out, he looks amazing. Even if he’s not very lucky at this point in the story it’s odd to try to make him out to be a slob when he’s clearly more discipline.
