These polished foil balls started with a Japanese jeweler who made one that appeared to have no purpose, but the nation became obsessed with it and everyone started making them! You can see what’s inside an aluminum foil ball when I crush it in my hydraulic press and see if the density increases or not.

  10. it really bothered me that you were hammering on a polished and expensive stone top. Why didn’t you use a work bench? Also, if you wanted to really condense it you should have pressed it into a cube, not just flattened it. Anyway, whatever, I’m glad there is better science or handy work on youtube so I don’t have to watch stuff like this. Keep up the good work with views though! Stay positive! 🙂
